Hello World Let’s Build Talk About A New Child Theme

I just reinstalled WP in order to start building a new child theme that matches the rest of the site. Over the years, I’ve done a lot wrong hacking WP. Now it is time to start doing things right. 🙂

I’ll work through how I built this child theme to match the rest of the website so it is easy for me to follow when I try to remember what I did.

CAVEAT LECTOR: I am a novice PHP coder. I may often show things that work but are not the way an experienced PHP coder would do it.

And, at this moment, there are a lot of things that I have not gotten working yet 😉
